Ed and Glenda Sheets
Emily has been riding since the age of three when she took her first lessons at Shady Acres Farm, then called AJ Quarter Horses. She was reunited with the farm in the summer of 2012 when the farm was purchased by Ed and Glenda Sheets. She currently works on the farm throughout the week and also manages public relations, the website, and social media. In addition, Emily offers lessons and training at Shady Acres. She specializes in dressage and natural horsemanship, but most of all she just likes to have fun!
Like Emily and Kevy, Stephanie got her start at Shady Acres Farm when it was known as AJ Quarter Horses in the second grade. She has been riding and working with horses ever since. As a 4-H advisor in Franklin County and a staff member here at the farm Stephanie loves to help others any way she can, and spends a lot of her free time working around the farm with her great coworkers, the boarders, and the horses. She is currently working towards her M.Ed at OSU. Go Bucks!
Kevy Gostlin started her equestrian career 14 years ago right here at the Shady Acres facility, when it was under the ownership and management of Andy and Jenny Reed. When she found out the farm was going through renovations and reopening as a boarding stable, she just knew she needed to be a part of that somehow! Now Kevy enjoys spending time almost every day with boarders, friends and all the lovely horses at Shady Acres!
